What is brigantia goddess?

Brigantia is a Celtic goddess who was originally worshiped by the Brigantes, a tribe that lived in what is now Northern England. She is associated with war, sovereignty, and healing, and her name is thought to mean "exalted one." Brigantia was often depicted carrying a spear or sword, and she was sometimes shown with a raven or other bird of prey.

In later periods, Brigantia was sometimes identified with other goddesses, such as the Irish goddess Brighid or the Roman goddess Victoria. She was also sometimes associated with the goddess Morrigan, who was also associated with war. Today, some modern pagans and neopagans still honor Brigantia as a goddess of sovereignty and protection.
